Conflict of Interest?
Four domain registrars we listed as enom's do not technically belong to the company: Alfena.com, ignitele.com, and yenkos.com either are currently, or were previously, registered to a Stevan Lieberman. However, all three domains redirect to enom.com. The three websites are currently all registered to Mr. Lieberman, and listing Mr. Lieberman's business address, except for Yenkos.com, which lists the registrant's name as "Domain Privacy". A fourth registrar, pocketdomains.com, is also registered to Lieberman's business address, with the registrant also listed as "Domain Privacy". This registrar actually has its own website, which states that pocketdomains.com is a private registrar.
Stevan Lieberman happens to be an attorney and partner of Greenberg and Lieberman, based in Washington, DC. According to the Greenberg and Lieberman website (aplegal.com), the firm specializes in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. Based on the information we have just presented, we would suspect that enom is a major client of the firm. Even so, we would still have to wonder why Mr. Lieberman personally owns 3 registrars so closely connected to enom. We especially wonder because the firm claims to have served over 15,000 clients, meaning that it is possible that its connections with enom have constituted possible conflicts of interest with some of its thousands of past and present clients.
The plot thickens
Actually, Mr. Lieberman's fourth registrar, pocketdomains.com, is also connected to enom. The Threadagent.com, Inc. registrar that is sitting on Name Intelligence's server has a phone number listed in Verisign's directory as 1-202-625-7000, which is the exact same phone number that is listed for all four of Lieberman's registrars AND the Greenberg and Lieberman law firm.
Another interesting piece of trivia: the address of the Greenberg and Lieberman office, 2141 Wisconsin Avenue, NW Suite C-2, is just 1.8 miles from the address of the registrant "RareNames, WebReg", the respondent of several domain disputes. This respondent is one of several aliases used by buydomains.com/afternic.com, a domain speculator with a portfolio of over half a million domain names.

Meine Vermutung ist, das die Whois Ergebnisse aus einer Datenbank stammen die nicht aktuell ist bzw. nicht aktuallisiert wird. Warum auch immer ...
So einen Fall gabe schon ein mal. Die technische Verwaltung der Domain .bz (Belize) wurde an Afilias übergeben. Monatelang waren Whois Abfragen, u.a. Expire, fehlerhaft.
