We have launched the ConsultDomain AI Hub, a new AI-assisted feature integrated directly into forum threads.
The goal is to make AI useful inside the normal ConsultDomain workflow. You do not need to leave the forum, copy an entire discussion into another service, or manually recreate the context of a thread.
At launch, the following commands are available:
Codex is currently disabled and is not part of this launch.

The goal is to make AI useful inside the normal ConsultDomain workflow. You do not need to leave the forum, copy an entire discussion into another service, or manually recreate the context of a thread.
At launch, the following commands are available:
Code:
/gpt
/grok
Codex is currently disabled and is not part of this launch.
How to use it
Start a new post or reply and place the command at the very beginning of your message.
Example:
Code:
/gpt Estimate the main factors that could affect the value of SolarDach.de.
Or:
Code:
/grok Compare the commercial potential of SolarDach.de and SolarHaus.de for the German market.
The command must appear at the start of the message. After the command, add a space and then write your request normally.
The AI response will be posted into the same thread by the ConsultDomain AI account.
What /gpt does
/gpt sends the request to OpenAI using the GPT API connection configured in your AI Hub account. You can access the settings here:
Code:
Your account → KI-Hub → GPT-API-Schlüssel
The GPT connection supports two model profiles:
- Everyday model – suitable for summaries, quick questions, context handling, and lightweight analysis.
- Main model – suitable for valuation, pricing, buyer research, negotiation, and more detailed analysis.
Your API key is stored encrypted and is used only when you submit a request with
/gpt.What /grok does
/grok uses your connected xAI account through OAuth. You can connect it here:
Code:
Your account → KI-Hub → Grok OAuth
The authentication process is handled by xAI. ConsultDomain does not receive your xAI password.
After the connection is complete, you can use
/grok in supported threads. How the integration works technically
When a message begins with
/gpt or /grok, the add-on detects the command and selects the requested provider. The processing flow is:
- Your original forum post is saved.
- The command and relevant thread context are collected.
- A background AI request is created for the selected provider.
- The request is sent using your configured API or OAuth connection.
- The forum checks the request status while processing continues.
- When the response is ready, it is published as a new reply by ConsultDomain AI.
The request is processed asynchronously, so the page does not need to remain blocked while the provider generates the response.
Thread context
The assistant can use relevant context from the current discussion.
This makes it useful for:
- Domain valuation discussions
- Buyer and end-user research
- Domain comparisons
- Sales strategy
- Negotiation ideas
- Marketplace questions
- DNS and registrar topics
- Domain law and trademark-related questions
- Project development and monetization ideas

Useful details include:
- Domain name
- Extension
- Target market
- Intended use
- Buyer type
- Price range
- Relevant background

You can explicitly request another language:
Code:
/gpt Please answer in English and compare the branding potential of these two domains.
