das musste ich gerade gestern wieder feststellen, habe jemanden eine dotcom genannt und er wiederholt die domain und hängt noch DE an. Das waren keine internetneulinge, falls es so etwas noch gibt in Germany. Es brachte mich etwas ins grübeln.

Ich nehme mal ein reales Beispiel aus der Praxis!<br />
<br />
Im Juni 2009 übernahm das "Pay-TV" Fernsehn Sky die Domain "sky.de" von der Genossenschaft Coop. Bis dato war "sky.de" für die über 200 Sky-Supermärkte regelrecht gebrandmarkt! Von heut auf morgen zog die Supermarktkette von "sky.de" auf "sky.coop" um!<br />
<br />
Und heute?<br />
<br />
Für die Statistik nehmen wir jetzt mal ausschließlich Zahlen von Google Adwords (für de). Wir gehen davon aus, dass in einen Monat ca. 4473 User über Google die Adresse "sky.coop" eingeben haben, bzw. diese suchen.<br />
<br />
Das Ergebnis:<br />
<br />
Suchbegriff: <b>sky.coop</b> (ein Indiz dafür, dass die TLD erkannt wird!) = 94,57 %<br />
Suchbegriff: <b>www*sky.coop</b> (ein Indiz dafür, dass die TLD erkannt wird!) = 3,80 %<br />
<br />
<b>macht zusammen 98,37 %, die .coop als TLD erkannt haben!</b><br />
<br />
und ja, natürlich..<br />
<br />
Suchbegriff: <b>sky-coop.de</b> (die es eigentlich nicht gibt) = 1,63 %<br />
<br />
Wir reden hier von ca. 1,6 %! Und es sind erst 2 Jahre vergangen, in der die "sky.coop" überhaupt vermarktet wurde. Unabhängig von den Faktoren, aber das ist eine ungefähre Richtung. Und wir sind uns (glaube ich) einig, dass eine .coop bei weitem weniger Aufmerksamkeit haben wird, als eine .shop, .film, .sport, .berlin, usw...<br />
