nein aber leider ist es schon so dass sich viele unternehmen davon abhängig gemacht haben (so wie auch auf youtube, fb und co). Man muss einfach flexibel genug sein um sich wie erwähnt auf mehrere Kanäle zu stützen und nicht nur auf einen. Wer nur mit Adwords Umsätze generieren kann, hat wohl sowieso ein fragwürdiges Geschäftsmodell.

Trotzdem frage ich mich, waren die Klickraten bzw. Preise für die Positionen ab Rang 5 bis 10 wirklich so marginal, dass Google diese einfach abschaffen kann? Werden die Umsätze jetzt durch die ersten 4 Anzeigen zu 100% (oder mehr, sonst hätte sich die Umstellung nicht gelohnt) wirklich wieder reingeholt? Vermutlich wird es eine Schlacht um diese 4 Plätze geben, gerade in beliebten Bereichen wie reisen, Kredit, Autos usw.

Zum einen muß Google das nicht unbedingt 100% ausgleichen. Allerdings glaube ich das sie das gerade in den ersten paar Monaten locker werden, weil sich viele erstmal überbieten werden um dann eventuell später festzustellen das es sich nicht auskommt bei den hohen Geboten für einen Click. <br />

Leer wird der Bereich rechts jedenfalls sicher nicht lange bleiben. Die Suchresultate nehmen gerade mal 570px Platz - etwa zwei Drittel von zeitgemässen Bildschirmen sind somit leer, und das auf der wohl bekanntesten Webseite der Welt..

Das war auch mein erster Gedanke das der Bereich nicht lange leer bleibt. Allerdings vergisst man gerne das Otto Normal jetzt schon oftmals mit dem Tablet oder Smartphone im Internet unterwegs ist, da exisitert dieser Bereich ja gar nicht. Das wird in der Zukunft noch viel mehr werden. Auf meinen 2 x 24 Zoll sieht das auch seltsam aus aber der normale private Nutzer bekommt den Bereich wie gesagt eh nicht oft zu sehen. <br />
<br />
In Europa mag das noch ziemlich häufig so sein das die Leute sowohl mobile Geräte wie Smartphone und Tablet haben, als auch Laptop und Desktop-PC. In Asien, Afrika, Südamerika und auch schon in Osteuropa sind es aber meinst nur Smartphones. Daher ist der abgeschaffte Bereich für den weltweit agierenden Google Konzern eh nicht so wichtig wie er für uns West-Europäer scheint. <br />
<br />
Gerade auch in Bezug auf die mobilen Geräte ist der zusätzlich Platz oberhalb für Google natürlich viel sinnvoller.<br />
